The Upgraded 2019 Toyota C-HR

The 2019 Toyota C-HR gets several upgrades this year that make sure we get even more bang for our buck with the small Toyota SUV. Let's take a closer look.

The 2019 Toyota C-HR is more affordable

Starting at $23,675, the new Toyota C-HR is now more affordable with a difference of about $2,000 from the previous model. Despite the more affordable price, the C-HR is still well equipped with 17-inch wheels, rearview camera, Apple CarPlay and windshield defrost.

All 2019 Toyota C-HRs also offer standard Toyota Safety Sense P, which includes pre-collision with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with steering assist, automatic high beams, and dynamic radar cruise control with full range of speeds.

Add to that the six active safety technologies of Toyota's Star Safety System included as standard, 10 airbags, a rearview camera, a direct tire pressure monitoring system, and more.

"The C-HR is truly unique in its styling, equipment and technology, not to mention its superb driving experience," said Cyril Dimitris, vice president of Toyota Canada Inc. "Our new coupe/mixed-vehicle is only in its second year of production, but we've already added new features and trim levels that will make it easy for consumers to find the perfect C-HR for their needs."

The C-HR lineup has a total of four versions. Heated seats, leather seats, automatic wipers, rear cross-traffic monitoring, blind spot monitoring and more are available on the different versions of the C-HR.

Under the hood, the 144 horsepower, 139 lb-ft of torque fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine is still available.
