Toyota was busy at this year's New York International Auto Show. In addition to introducing us to the all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4, the Japanese automaker also used the last major auto show of the year to introduce us to a new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback. With the new Corolla Hatchback, Toyota now has a true Toyota signature hatchback. The Corolla iM we currently know was actually a Scion product. The Corolla Hathcback, on the other hand, is a real Toyota and it has a lot to offer.
Impressive versatility
With the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, we are treated to a powerful and dynamic car that is also able to surprise in terms of versatility. Indeed, it also offers the comfort and refinement of the Corolla sedan, but the hatchback allows for a much more interesting and useful cargo space.
You'll also get more safety in the new 2019 Corolla Hatchback. The latter will come with the standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 system that includes an array of safety assistance features like automatic braking with pedestrian detection, radar adaptive cruise control, stability control with lane departure detection and prevention system with steering assist and much more.
Under the hood, the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback will get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with still unknown power. However, we expect more than 150 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching function ensures interesting performance and a certain driving pleasure. There's no doubt that the new Toyota Corolla Hatchback will be dynamic, fun to drive, and a great performer as well as being versatile.
