Usher in a bold new era of advanced motoring with the all-new, 2016 Toyota Prius – the fourth-generation of the world’s most popular and proven hybrid automobile. Drivers will get their first look at the new face of advanced motoring at the Montreal International Auto Show as the 2016 Prius makes its Canadian debut – January 15-24 in the Toyota booth at the Palais des Congrès.

Prius built its global reputation on remarkable fuel efficiency, with each generation out-performing the last. For 2016, improvements to the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive – including a new gasoline engine with ground-breaking thermal efficiency of more than 40 percent – help the new Prius go farther and do more on even less fuel.
The new Prius is the first global vehicle to implement Toyota’s New Global Architecture. This integrated development program for powertrain components and vehicle platforms helps boost performance and enhance a vehicle’s appeal with drivers.
Curbside, the Prius has been completely reimagined for 2016, with a longer, sleeker, lower outline that conveys a more athletic, sporty design – enhanced with bold character lines and striking details.
Inside, the Prius receives a new, premium interior for 2016, combining advanced technology with features that are function and fun. Comfort and spaciousness are emphasized through a beautiful design.
What the design promises, the engineering delivers: The new Prius is even more fun to drive thanks to a lower centre of gravity that imparts a “planted on the road” presence and new suspension systems that dial up driving excitement.
Safety is also better than ever, as the Prius becomes one of the first vehicles in Canada to be offered with Toyota Safety Sense – a new multi-feature advanced safety package.
