With its Toyota FT-AC (Future Toyota Adventure Concept), Japanese automaker Toyota used the Los Angeles Auto Show to showcase its vision of what an SUV should be able to offer in terms of wilderness fun and off-road mobility. In other words, the Toyota FT-AC has what it takes to meet your needs on your next adventure.
Toyota FT-AC: An off-road vehicle concept that stands out
The Toyota FT-AC is still in the concept stage, but it will eventually be an SUV that stands out on many different levels, but mainly in terms of its versatility and its ability to meet the needs of an active clientele.
Toyota chose the Los Angeles International Auto Show to unveil its concept because the people of Los Angeles are the perfect example of a clientele that wants to get out of the city as soon as the opportunity arises to go to the beach or to the mountains east of the city. That's why Toyota chose to present this concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show, a show that is usually known for its production model unveilings.
That said, if the public reaction is positive, it's very likely that we'll see the Toyota FT-AC on our roads one day, probably replacing the Toyota 4Runner.
Under the hood, the FT-AC will be offered with the ability to lock the differential and its engine will be a hybrid system that combines fuel economy and robustness. However, the Japanese manufacturer did not offer more information about the engine that will power the FT-AC.
In addition to offering an engine that stands out in terms of efficiency and performance, the Toyota FT-AC will also offer roof-mounted LED lights that can be controlled remotely to illuminate your campsite at night, and a Wi-Fi system will also be integrated.
Until the Toyota FT-AC is unveiled as a production vehicle, contact us today at Chassé Toyota to learn more about our lineup of new Toyota sport utility vehicles!
